Light Display at Lake Powell
While out at Alstrom Point with a client last week, the clouds got really heavy and blocked all the late evening light. Shortly before sunset, a small amount of sun managed to break through and produce this gorgeous red light. The effect only lasted a couple minutes. I decided to try something new, so I had my camera setup to take a time-lapse (I'll try and post that later today). The light was so good, I picked up my second camera body and took this shot hand-held (thank goodness for 4-stops of IS/VR).
