CHILD FLYING A KITE IN CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA
The Joy of Playing…
Work consists of whatever a body is obliged to do. Play consists of whatever a body is not obliged to do.
We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
As a traveller, I have found that children all over the world revel in being photographed, especially while they are at play. Here I share images of people at play whether it be children creating their own fun, or adults making music, or a crowd revelling in the festivities of ritual such as "playing Holi".

Love the girl jumping with the guitar, the smiling eyes of the shy child, and the novice monks running on the pagoda.
Thanks for 'playing' and sharing the JOY!
