plantations, birds & bayou

It is day one on our tour of Louisiana. The weather has been brutal in the south and because of the cold we do not have any birds on nests, nor do we have azaleas at the plantation houses. Well at least New Orleans is not going anywhere.

Here are a few of images from my scouting days and one of our home for the next week, Oak Alley Plantation.
